Because the values learned in teams sports will last a lifetime, St. Monica School, in conjunction with the Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo, provides opportunities for 7th and 8th grade students to participate in a variety of activities. Goals of the C.S.G.K. Athletic Program include the development of a positive attitude, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, confidence, effort, and team spirit.
 
The following sports are offered to 7th and 8th graders throughout the school year:

 Basketball               Basketball                     *Cross Country
 
*These teams are unified with the C.S.G.K., and are under the direction of Hackett Catholic Central's Athletic Department.
 
Athletes must have passed a medical exam given after April 15th of the previous spring in order to participate in any practice or game.
