There are so many ways to get involved in the community at St. Monica School!
Sign up at the beginning of the year to be a Room Parent – assist with class parties, projects and birthday efforts for your child’s teacher.
See the office to sign up as a substitute teacher, substitute office staff, or cafeteria helper -- we are ALWAYS looking for more!
Volunteer with your child’s homeroom teacher as a parent volunteer – you will help give students some one-on-one attention if they need extra assistance with their work.
Volunteer with our parent organization, Boosters, and help run our fun school events through-out the year!
Become an Ambassador Family to assist new families as they join our school by answering questions and developing friendships, as well as helping with marketing events.
Or join our Local Advisory Council (LAC) to help advise the Principal and assist in implementing school improvements and policy.
All St. Monica volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained, as required by the Diocese of Kalamazoo. This policy helps keep our School Environment safe! Click here or email our Safe Environment Coordinator Bridget VanDam for how to get started.
